Flowcarbon's Vision for Flow3rs

Flowcarbon was founded with the mission to harness the power of innovative technology and Web3 to scale funding for critical projects around the world that reduce or avoid carbon emissions.

We’ve been hard at work these past few months on several incredibly exciting projects to fulfill that mission and are thrilled to be able to share one of them with you now.

We are delighted to announce the launch of Flow3rs, a collection of decentralized art for climate impact. Flow3rs will merge the worlds of art, technology and sustainability, galvanizing new communities to finance climate positive action through unique works of digital art. Moreover, Flow3rs will continue to raise awareness about, and access to, the voluntary carbon market as a scalable way to fund climate action.

Flow3rs is a collection of NFTs created by eight world renowned artists, inspired by humanity’s influence on the natural world. More than two thirds of proceeds will go towards retiring carbon credits issued by projects from the developing world that protect natural ecosystems and endangered wildlife and have a verified, measurable impact on removing carbon from the earth’s atmosphere.

Simultaneous with announcing this collection, our CEO, Dana Gibber, and our Chief Blockchain Officer, Phil Fogel, are attending the COP27 summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, to speak about the crucial role blockchain can play in achieving necessary climate goals. We are honored to have the opportunity to speak alongside renowned climate policy leaders from across the world  and to know that we are helping shape the future of climate action.

Both our participation at COP27 and the launch of Flow3rs, among the other projects we have underway, are integral to our goal of scaling climate action through market mechanisms. All of our recent efforts are aimed at helping shape climate policy and advancing the role that blockchain infrastructure can play in helping scale climate solutions in the timeframe needed to achieve the 1.5 degree climate pathway set by the Paris Agreement.

We deeply value our community, which is as dedicated, passionate and engaged as we are. We are eager to share this climate positive art with you and to introduce you to our first group of Flow3rs artists, who are leading the charge among their peers in leveraging their talent for climate impact.

Thank you for being a part of our mission.
